Play Project

Bring Play Back

A play-based social adventure for children designed to help children build friendships, confidence, communication skills, and social-emotional skills through purposeful play.

Each week, children dive into exciting games, challenges, creative adventures, and cooperative play designed to build confidence, friendships, emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving, all while having so much fun they don't even realize they are learning.

This isn't another sports program or tutoring class. It's a place where kids laugh, move, create, solve problems, make friends, and discover just how capable they really are. Because the best way to grow social skills is to play.

Is This Program the Right Fit?

This program is designed for children who are ready to participate in a group setting with a 1:10 staff-to-child ratio. Children should be able to:

  • Participate safely and independently in a group environment

  • Engage in games and activities alongside peers for the full session

  • Follow simple group routines and directions with typical reminders

  • Transition between activities with minimal support

  • Use the washroom independently

  • Communicate their needs in a way staff can understand (verbally, with AAC, gestures, or other established communication methods)

  • Participate without requiring continuous one-to-one adult support
